I am sooooo far behind with my blog. The past few weeks have gone by in a whirl wind. I will give you the short version and highlights of the past few weeks and will follow up with pictures and more info.
We had a great visit with Tim's parents. They returned to the US on Monday of last week. Then it was a busy week with school stuff...quilting class and conference calls.. Abi had a mock interview for her internship on Wednesday afternoon and then she and I got on a plane and spent the weekend in Hong Kong. We shopped until we dropped and then got back on the plane on Saturday evening to return to Shanghai. Tim and Tucker went out to dinner Friday evening to celebrate Tucker's last day of work (until he returns in the summer) and then shopped for a new scooter for Tim.
Our playful weekend was brought to a sad end when Abi learned that one of her good friends had been killed in a jet ski accident. We have all been devastated by this and are trying to work through the emotions of this terrible loss. Concordia is a small school and this tragedy has been a hard blow to the entire community. Please keep Abi in your prayers as she grieves. We are also asking for prayers for Marco's family and the other families that were with them on holiday.
I took Tucker to the airport on Sunday morning....and......cried like a baby when he disappeared through customs. He was really looking forward to returning to the US (I was a little envious) and getting back to school.
