Sights from Shanghai

This is a picture taken from a street by our apartment. In the foreground you can see construction....in the mid ground you can see older housing.....and the background you can see the "new Shanghai". Things are happening very fast here.....construction everywhere.

This is construction on the opposite of the road. This building is under construction. It happened almost overnight. Our favorite massage place and Abi's hair place closed without warning. It was really weird. We hope that they will both be back soon. What is really interesting....some of the businesses are still operating in this rubble.

We passed by this sign today while we were exploring the neighborhood. This sign is also on a very large sign in neon lights above this restaurant. Sometimes things get lost in translation.....I think this might be one of them. I love finding signs like this!!! Most times we can figure out what they are supposed to mean.....this time it is truly a mystery. That's life in Shanghai!!!
