The weather in Shanghai is nice today...maybe too nice. It feels like spring. We had a few days of really cold weather and now...it appears Winter is over. I think this may just be a bit of a tease however.

We are busy preparing for our trip to the US. Just nine more days but...Who's counting? ME!

Abi only had a half day of school today....so she spent her afternoon very wisely...having lunch and playing WII with Peter. Ahhhhh teens!

Tim is hosting people from the US this week. Monday evening we had part of his work group to our house and then walked to the restaurant behind our apartment for traditional Chinese cuisine. Tim chose the menu items....one menu is brought to the table and one person usually orders all the dishes for the group. And...of course he had to order duck tongues just for fun! It's my fav!!!! NOT!

This morning I went to the Community Center, the underground market, the fabric market and stopped by Dongjiadu Road to visit my favorite little man that sells Chinese farm fabric. Then I went to lunch at Burger King in the Mall (the fabric market and the Mall are two completely different worlds), talked to Tucker on the phone, talked to a friend to finalize our Chinese New Year plans, picked up some food items at the import grocery store and was home by 1:30. It was a record day!!!
